Creativity is the Key

For a few years now, my 8 year old has been making extensive stylized videos on my phone where she pretends to be an "influencer" doing everything from product recommendations to narrated reviews/tours of products, food, obstacles, you name it - throughout our house. The girl even ends most of her videos asking her viewers to "like" her posts and to "subscribe" to her channel if they haven't already. I never had the heart to tell her that I never really planned to publish any of her content. I'm a working Mom who wakes up way before the sun rises to commute 50 miles each way five days a week, severely limiting my weekday free time. I have a husband who does no social media, I mean ZERO; unless you count LinkedIn, but that's not really where you find the content creators and influencers (unless, of course, they are looking for a job!) I've never downloaded TikTok, I don't watch YouTube and I haven't posted anything on Face Book in a decade (is that still a thing??). But my 8 year old is relentless and her energy is contagious. So with a little bit of reluctance, but a whole lot of support, I've decided to create Olivia's Treasure Box. A website and business where my little girl can start making real product reviews and recommendations from her perspective. Our goal is to curate a website where we can link products or places that we've reviewed so that others can learn from our successes and failures, prior to committing to their own.
