Olivia's Favorite Beach Finds
ποΈ My Super Fun Beach Day Packing List! π
I loooove going to the beach! But if you forget stuff, it can be a total bummer π. So here's my awesome list of things you should always bring when you go to the beach (trust me, I’m a beach expert π).
And guess what? You can click on the links to get them from Amazon!
(With help from a grown-up, of course π)
β
𧴠1. Sunscreen (So You Don’t Turn Into a Lobster π¦)
You have to bring sunscreen. One time my cousin forgot, and he looked like a tomato! π
π Buy kid-safe sunscreen on Amazon
β
πΆοΈ 2. Sunglasses (For Cool Beach Vibes π)
The sun is soooo bright. Sunglasses help you see better, and you look super cool in them.

β
π©΄ 3. Flip-Flops or Sandals (The Sand Is HOT!)
Seriously, the sand can burn your toes! You need something easy to slip on and off.
π Cute flip-flops here
β
ποΈ 4. Beach Towel (Big Enough for Lying Like a Starfish β)
You need a towel to dry off and sit on. Bonus points if it has your favorite cartoon character on it!

β
π§ 5. Snacks and Water (You Will Be HUNGRY)
Swimming makes you so hungry. Bring snacks like goldfish, fruit snacks, and lots of water.
π Get a cool lunchbox or snack container
π Insulated water bottles that don’t spill
β
π 6. Beach Toys (The More Buckets, the Better)
You must bring a shovel and bucket. Sandcastles don’t build themselves!
β
βοΈ 7. Beach Umbrella or Tent (For Shade Time)
Sometimes you need a break from the sun to eat your snacks or chill with your book.
π Beach chair or Umbrella
π Pop-up tents
β
π§’ 8. Hat (My Mom Makes Me Wear One π)
It keeps the sun off your face, and it actually helps (but don't tell my mom I said that).
β
π 9. Swim Goggles (So You Can See Underwater!)
Looking for treasure (aka cool rocks and seaweed) is way easier with goggles.
π Check out colorful swim goggles here
β
π 10. A Big Beach Bag (For All This Stuff!)
You need something to carry all your stuff... or you’ll drop your snack in the sand (oops).
π Beach bags that moms and kids both like
β
That’s my list! I hope you have a super fun time at the beach, and don’t forget to wear sunscreen and build the tallest sandcastle ever π°β¨
Bye for now! π¬

Stuff Grown-Ups Gotta Bring to the Beach
Hi again! I already told you what kids need at the beach, but now I’m gonna help the grown-ups.
(Because let's be honest, you guys forget stuff all the time! π)
β
So here’s my super serious list of important beach stuff for adults, made by a kid who pays attention (because you should see how much stuff my mom has to carry!).
β
πͺ 1. Comfy Beach Chairs (Your Butts Will Thank You)
Sitting on a towel for 4 hours = NOPE. Grown-ups always bring chairs because they like backrests and cup holders.
π Tall beach chairs that don’t sink into the sand
β
βοΈ 2. Sunscreen (Yes, Even Dads Need It)
I don’t care if you're “already tan,” you still need it! Sunburns hurt. And my mom gets the fancy kind for her face.
π Adult sunscreen that doesn’t smell weird
β
π§ 3. A Cooler (With Snacks That Kids Can’t Steal)
Adults hide the “good” snacks in the cooler. Also water. And seltzer. And maybe juice that isn’t for kids π.
π Cooler with wheels = beach hero
β
π± 4. Waterproof Phone Case (So You Don’t Cry)
You will drop your phone. Or sit on it wet. Or splash it while doing TikToks.
π Best waterproof cases for phones
β
π§ 5. Headphones (Because Adults Like “Chill Time”)
Sometimes grown-ups just want to zone out and listen to music while we yell and dig holes in the sand.
π Waterproof or sand-proof headphones
β
π 6. A Big Hat (The Fancy Kind)
Grown-ups love looking stylish at the beach. Also it keeps the sun out of your eyes so you don’t squint like a pirate.
π Stylish sun hats for Mom and Dad
β
π©± 7. A Swimsuit You Actually Like
I heard adults say, “Ugh, I need a new suit” like, every year. Just get one that fits and makes you do happy dances.

β
π 8. A Book You Pretend to Read (Until You Fall Asleep)
Adults always bring a book. Sometimes they read it. Sometimes they use it as a face cover for naps π΄.
π Beach reads that make you look smart
β
ποΈ 9. A Giant Umbrella (Because Shade Is Everything)
We kids will run around in the sun like wild animals. But you? You want an umbrella fort.
π Best beach umbrellas with SPF
β
π 10. A Bag With LOTS of Pockets (You Know You Want It)
Grown-ups love organizing stuff. Snacks here. Keys there. Wipes everywhere.
π Tote bags with room for literally everything
β
That’s it! If you’re a grown-up reading this, just remember: the beach is more fun when you're prepared... and when you share snacks with your kids πͺπ
Have a sandy, sunny, not-sunburned day!
